Thai AirAsia launches new routes to India in Dec 2018
Thai AirAsia this week announced the launch of new routes to India, where it plans to operate Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam from Bangkok.
Reservation for both service is now available, scheduled for December 2018 inaugural.
Bangkok Don Mueang – Bhubaneswar

Thai AirAsia adds Gaya service from Dec 2018
Thai AirAsia from December 2018 plans to introduce another new route to India, with the scheduling of Bangkok Don Mueang – Gaya route.
From 03DEC18, Airbus A320 aircraft will operate this route 4 times a week.

I really doubt Don Muang caters to any transit traffic. So the crowd in these flights mostly be O&D.
So why could not any Indian carrier think of flying these routes? Shame really! _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

Don Mueang is a hub for Thai AirAsia and also Thai AirAsia X. |

I flew from HKG via DMK to BOM on AirAsia. It handles lots of transit traffic, although the terminal is crowded and food choices limited especially if you are vegetarian or not used to Oriental meats. |
