Visited Laos last year, virgin beauty. Decided to fit it in because then every major country in the french indo china would have visited. Only brunei left (for records).
Two blogs - one about Laos and another about the maginificant Kuang Si falls (Link in first blog)
Laos: Where time stands still and Mekong rushes past
When we planned our Vietnam-Laos trip last year, I did not even know that there exists a nation called Laos; let alone the cities in that dot sized country. When TH (The Husband) was contemplating whether to go to Vientiane or Luang Prabang (popularly known as LP), I was just excited about our next adventure not knowing where we would eventually land. TH did some research and finalized that we will fly to Luang Prabang from Hanoi and will stay there for 1.5 days. _________________ www.networkthoughts.com |

Two spectacular articles by Mrs.Joshi!
Ameya Sir, thank you for sharing these with us.
Right from the impressive title, "Laos: Where time stands still and Mekong rushes past". The pictures look extremely inviting, and Mrs.Joshi's inimitable writing style make it even more delightful.
The food pictures and descriptions...well, the Joshis are masters at this!
"SERENE SCENES OF KUANG-SI". Beautiful alliteration in the title itself.
My God...this is some place. I can almost hear the loud gushing sound in the Jade-coloured waters. Amazing articles!
Cheers, Sumantra. |
