The Independent Newspaper reports (citiing AirHelp) that Mumbai and Delhi are amongst the 10 WORST !! airports in the world ...Find this to be totally ridiculous

https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/airports-10-worst-world-gatwick-stansted-manchester-edinburgh-a7786991.html

Here are the worst 10 airports in the world and their scores in the AirHelp index:

Kuwait 5.02
London Gatwick 5.38
Manchester 5.43
Newark Liberty, New Jersey, USA 5.92
Stansted 6.07
Edinburgh 6.10
Mumbai, India 6.21

This makes Zero sense. They clearly have not been there since the new terminals came up. CDG is a shit show (pardon the French). BOM is so easy. In the end Indian airports are so small (relative to the multiple terminal complexes that are most Western airports) that they can really never be the worst. I will say silly things like stamping the hand baggage and eight people checking your boarding pass while you walk 20 feet need to stop (they are laughable but hardly horrible).

The worst list includes Dubai and Bangkok Swarnabhumi as well - Both far better than many US and EU airports.

I this this survey deserves to be in the recycle bin, with 'right-click - Empty Recycle Bin ' for added effect.

Hah, inaccurate list.

These "surveys" and "polls" are garbage.

Many people polled may have gone through an airport once in their lives a hundred years ago. If I had visited BOM or DEL in 2008, I too would list them as the world's worst.

And, of course, you have the usual snowflakes who take their ire out on an airport if they have to queue up, or if their flight was delayed, or the airport restaurants didn't have their preferred brand of beer, etc., etc., etc.

Also, the Independent is garbage.
