I'm shocked. Either India-EU/NA traffic is booming or someone (ME3, TK, LH, BA) is really hurting. With 9W starting so many flights to EU, something has to give. I suspect its the ME3/TK but don't have any data to back that up. Oh and I know LF doesn't mean yields are there. But still someone has to be losing people or more are flying.

Cheap deals / fares are good enough to generate traffic to/ from India.

Brussels Airlines is part of the LH group. It takes little for them to fill up an aircraft to BOM as they can offer various options to travelers via other LH group airlines.

Brussels airlines could very well be the bottom end feeder for the LH group, at least for the time being.

VS were full to and from BOM the second time they flew back. The route lost too much money and was dropped. Only time will tell how this pans out.
