|According to DGCA LIST OF http://dgca.nic.in/flyclub/flyclub.htm DGCA has subsidised some schools through out India(excerpt from the page below)
Financial Assistance to the subsidised Flying Clubs
Under the scheme, subsidised flying is provided to the students upto 60 flying hours or private pilot licence, which ever is earlier. The cost of operation on different type of aircraft in Flying Clubs/Institutes is as under
Type of Aircraft; Cost of Operation per hour; Student share per hr.; Government subsidy per hour
i. Pushpak (Rs.)1140/-, (Rs.)912, (Rs.)228
ii. Cessna/Piper (Rs.) 1402/-, (Rs.)1122, (Rs.)280
iii. Swati (Rs.)1303/-, (Rs.)1024, (Rs.)261
And this is the fee structure of the Amritsar flying club which is listed in the subsidised list, not only Amritsar but other schools in that list are also charging the almost same price
Why so ? And what then is the purpose/meaning of the subsidised schools list ?
Iím talking about cost of flying per hour for private pilot license
And in this http://dgca.nic.in/licencing/fly-ind.htm(2016 approved flying schools), Amritsar isnít even listed.
