Why did it's took too so long for SV to launch TRV ? Why did SV cancelled the CCJ route ? i thought most of the Kerala passengers fly to Saudi.

A) Issue may be linked to bilaterals - which may have been resolved in December.

B) Kozhikode Airport saw its widebody category rating revoked after safety concerns from AAI and DGCA. Hence, EK and SV had to end operations to CCJ, while AI had to end 747/77W ops there.

C) That is correct.

I think UL should take advantage of CCJ route. I remember UL did 11 weekly flights in the past.

Saudia removes planned Thiruvananthapuram April 2017 launch

Saudia earlier this month removed planned schedule for Thiruvananthapuram service, previously scheduled to commence on 01APR17.
The Skyteam member opened reservation for flights from both Jeddah and Riyadh in late-January 2017, however reservation was closed within 2 weeks.
