Indeed. I have been one of those enjoying CollegeAviatior's posts on A.net for quite some time, but not commenting there: I am more comfortable communicating with people on our forum, than on A.net.
I enjoyed this one all the more since you had gives us a heads-up on many incidents associated with this trip report.
The rather sparse air museum, and of course Dickinson's Ed Force One.
Lovely wildlife pictures: are those Siberian tigers?
their size and characteristics look closer to the ones from Siberia: the land of Laventiy Beria, rather than Uluberia Razz
Interesting lead-up to the trip, and good that you got a window seat!
Rude agent: hmm...it is really nice that you got the flying pencil, after all.
The fire training aircraft: looks like a DC-9-30. Rather rare sight, now-a-days.
Lovely winglet shots, as usual!
Some great spotting at the airport, Sir!
The Robinson Raven is a very common chopper to see around now-a-days, I guess.
`nice that you enjoyed the spring break.
Those panned take-off pictures, are great, and that too, in challenging illumination!
We look forward to the return leg descriptions and pics.
Thanks, Sumantra.

Thank you so much for your response, Sumantra sir!

You got that right - those are in fact Siberian tigers!

I do not intend on being so inactive over here. Its just that time constrains have put me in such a position Sad

DL used to have the DDC-9s until very recently - they got retired last year, I do believe.

I like how easy it is to spot in the USA... there's dedicated facilities for it too! Some day, hopefully, it would be allowed in India, too....

Sorry, I missed this out. Lovely wing and winglet shots again!
Good part about a nice FA. Biscoff and Pretzels...
Toilets in the centre: JB: some of the old NW B752s also had toilets right there. I remember a 2005 trip when I was inside, and pressed the assistance button my mistake, in a completely sleep-deprived state.
Nothing untoward happened, though Smile
Cheers, Sumantra.

Cheers, Sumantra.

It is always very interesting to see how the major USA airlines configure the medium haul aircraft - especially the B757s. One can't be sure of the accurate configuration until you've boarded. One finds centrally-located laws on the high(er) density B757s, since these planes don't need to much galley space thanks to the abundance of peanuts & pretzels Smile
