Hi guys,
This is my first trip report and my first Jet Airways trip. I am a frequent flyer and have flown many airlines such as LH/AIX/IC/CD/DN,etc. But had never flown with 9W. I was looking out for some great deals on the web and finally got one.
Trip Details:
Origin:BOM/VABB/Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Intl. Terminal 1B,Mumbai.
Destination:NAG/VANP/Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Intl Airport,Nagpur.
Flight:9W111
Date of Departure:25/May/2007.
Aircraft Registration:VT-JNL

Booked the ticket on www.jetairways.com and I must say that ticketing and Web-Check in is a breeze. I went to the airport and proceeded directly for Security Check.
Waited in the departure area and finally proceeded for boarding.
The aircraft which was to take us to NAG was not equipped with winglets. It was not even having entertainment system. As everyone was seated the captain came on line and gave us the details of our flight. After take off, delicious breakfast was served. By the time the FA's started to collect food trays, we had started out descent into NAG. Landing was smooth. This was the first half of my trip.

For the second half, the TR is as follows:

Seat:10F
Did a web check-in and chose 10F. For a tall man like me, 10F is the perfect seat as there is a paartition between Club Premier and Economy, there is ample of legroom. Went to the airport and went straight to security check. Waited in the departure hall for some time and then boarding was announced. At first I didn't notice the winglets. As the bus approached near the aircraft I saw the winglets. We were seated and there was a very good entertainment system equipped on this aircraft. My seat was just near the engines. There was a sticker on the CFM which read "CFM POWER OF FLIGHT" The touchscreen display was very good and Jet Screen (The inflight entertainment program of 9W) has a wide range of choice. The breakfast was served. Looking at the IFE. the CFMs, the legroom , delicious breakfast, smooth flight, I really wished I had a camera to take some pics but my mom had taken the camera with her to IAH wihch also contains my pics of DXB. But anyway, I will post pics next time when I will travel. We began our descent into BOM. As we landed I saw a 9W bird in new colours. Couldn't make out whether it was B777 or A330. 9W has not yet given 737s the new colour scheme. Got out of the airport and headed towards home.

As I have already mentioned, my mom took my camera with her to IAH. So couldn't get pics.

Had travelled on this sector abt a year n a half back on 9W. At tht time the load was like 100% BOM-NAG and around 70% return. But then those days the only other option was IC. Now i guess , DN, IT and 6E all fly this sector.
