Nice stuff, Varun!
Lovely pics to go along. Just curious - what camera do you use?
Nice and lovely descriptions of the Andamans! Looks like a decent retreat for sure! I never knew about the island resident discounts.
IndiGo firing everywhere
Interesting incident with the DL. Kinda unnecessary imo.
Go Air looks like a pretty decent airline too. Many opportunities have come and gone, but reasons known as Dream)liners make sure I haven't had a chance to fly on G8.
Sad to see what happened to MAA. Glad it didn't affect you too much!
Looking forward to the AI B744 and 9W A332!
Regards

Thanks Jishnu and Ameya!
@Jish - I use a Canon P&S. Most of the shots in the front end of the TR were taken with it, while the rest were from a cellphone camera. _________________ Yeah. |

Splendid TR, Varun...I would be lying if I said that I was not waiting for this one as well, almost ever since I was privy to the information that a Port Blair trip was coming up for you!
The best part about reading your trip reports is a complete panorama into the region you visit: the history, the geography, and neat tid-bits which make the reader feel the same excitement (and anticipation!) as you would have yourself felt.
Nice MAA spotting pictures...I especially loved the one for Airbus to crow about
It was a bit scary to imagine that Chennai would go through some of the worst floods ever, just after your trip. The fifty shades of...blue in the waters around the Andamans was simply...magical. Your non-aviation pictures have been spectacular as well, and no Varun trip report is complete without the customary funny lines and pictures! This trend went till the very end, ``there goes our sharklet'' and the sphagetti in the sky!
The `identity crisis' is not something I would like to experience as well, I am sorry to hear about the trouble you had to go through, on this account.
Thank you once again, for an extremely enjoyable read.
Cheers, Sumantra. |
