Irate passengers force ex-minister Rehman Malik off KHI-ISB PIA flight for boarding late.

Very brainy by Rehman Malik, as soon as he saw a bunch of cameras/cellphones he turned around like a snake.
Also surprised to note that there's a mantri in Pakistan going by the name of 'Ramesh Kumar Vankvani'. Perhaps that is why he is reluctant to state his name!

Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani is a prominent PML-N (Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz) politician, and is a leader representing the minorities. I think he was reluctant to state his name - and that too, his full name (he reluctantly gave out `Dr. Ramesh', possibly to have passengers think him to be a medical doctor), to hide his political lineage. I think passengers must have checked the Internet on their mobiles to find the connection. I do not think the religion was an issue at all: it was clearly anti-politician, and the passengers would not take any of it, due to a political bigwig delaying the flight. KHI-ISB is akin to BOM-DEL here, and has a lot of business (and Government) traffic.

By not being in the Aircraft with the rest of the Pax, Dr Ramesh gave up all his chances on defence
