Disgusting behavior by AAP thugs. All politicians are the same in the end. Looks like AAP's benevolence only extends to people that are tan, but not too tan.

The general hostility of many Delhiites towards people who don't look/act/talk like them is a well established fact. Just ask any African/North Easterner or others who have travelled there.

What's worrying is this vigilantism of the AAP ministers. It looks like thugs, opportunists and self-seekers have infiltrated the AAP, and this does not bode well for a party like them who are yet to get established in the political arena.

The media and the Grand old party created the monster in the form of AAP to keep BJP away from power in Delhi assembly. This monster is now out on the streets. This is a bit like the Jurassic Park novel (where scientists in their overzealousness paid scant respect to scientific discipline) .

AAP doesnt care for Constitution, governance and processes but instead believes in street-side justice and mobocracy.

They do not know how to govern, so they are using the ruse of Delhi police transfer/suspension to agitate and avoid working the files. Better still, make a spectacle of working during agitation.
I sincerely hope that while Delhiites got fooled, better sense will prevail in the rest of the country.
And if Congress is so concerned, they shud immediately withdraw support and put Delhi under LG rule. I am sure there are enough sane heads in Cong and BJP to realise that viability of democracy of the nation needs to be preserved. This monster needs to be contained and confined ASAP if anarchy is to be prevented.

That is exactly what AAP wants. To be a victim and martyr and use that as further leverage.

Let this tamasha go on. AAP is successfully alienating a huge segment of its middle class supporters and digging its own grave.

AAP is turning out to be yet another vigilante organization which are oh-so reviled by the media.
Not only that- they are confronting institutions and even asking for rebellion among the ranks of Delhi police to join their cause.
What next ? Army ? At this rate they will cause mayhem.

God save people of India from this KH-AAP and its PAAP.

For all who don't want AAP party to survive and call them as 'Anarchist', then I guess you all want again 'Corruption', 'Rape and Murder of woman', 'Caste based politics' and 'Price Rise' to flourish.

The grand old party (Congress) and the Communal party (BJP) will again make you sweat and less safe. Police reforms are yet to be bought by any of these parties.

Price rise ?? Do you realize this subsidy business that AAP has kickstarted is going to cost the aam admi dearly in other ways??
And please tell me HOW ANY party can actually "prevent" a rape or murder ?
?
Are these crimes even preventable in the world ? (except in Utopia)
What will these people demand next ? Handing over power to Maoists in parts of India ? They are already calling for a referendum on Army deployment in Kashmir. They will next demand that Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim be given to China ..and India should unilaterally destroy its nuclear weapons because it is not quite in the interest of aam admi anyway..I mean, they can come up with any bizarre interpretation of aam admi's needs.

These actions taken by AAP may not bring a permanent end to the crime against women in India. But what this does is it will ensure that those who have enjoyed committing this crime will be waiting for their turn to face death penalty and an urgency on the part of police to register FIR. Instead of seeing the police abusing and insulting a woman.

This old patriarchal nature of our country cannot do any good in the modern world and to our democracy. If there is no immediate action taken then this will create a bad impression on us to the rest of the world. Because some of the foreign women have also been a victim of this act. Recent example the rape of a Danish tourist. Gender sensitivity is the need of the hour in India.

AFAS economic and foreign affairs issues are concerned, AAP is yet to establish its stance on these issues. As of now, all the political experts are calling them a mixture of right and left in their ideology. We have to give them some time to come up with their call on all of them. Right now all of its members are speaking in different voices which will create doubt in peoples mind. Some of them are even going to the extent of talking something which hurts everyone's sentiments. That worries me. I hope it is mended quickly and they focus on good governance in Delhi.

Today's scenes are a sense of frustration of inaction that has taken place in the last 65 years of our independence by the previous governments. I do understand that they have to curtail their emotions and channelise it into a constructive process. But to arbitrarily come to conclusion that AAP has to be thrown out because of this dharna, is not warranted at the moment.

For rape and murder of women and caste based politics to end, you need enlightened politicians who can think beyond gender and caste lines.

The AAP minister who referred to those innocent Africans as 'us tarah ke log' was certainly not behaving in an enlightened fashion. He was as racist and backward as they come, not to mention his penchant for thuggery.

Now it is the Africans, soon the definition of 'us tarah ke log' will include educated and fashionable women, North-Easterners, South Indians, gays, inter-caste lovers - basically anyone who doesn't fit with the cow belt's idea of a 'normal person'. What then?

I had always feared that a well-meaning movement like the AAP will be subverted by self-seeking elements. It is difficult if not impossible to avoid that in the cesspool that is called Indian politics. It happened with the Nav Nirman and Jayprakash Narain movements in the 1970s and it is happening now with the AAP.

In any natural society, there is always a heirarchical order of people, processes and functions.
Aam admi stands at the root level, but there are natural layers above the people. These layers are supposed to provide framework, govern according to the framework and delivery justice and maintain order.
By adopting anarchist tactics in the name of aam admi, these people are challenging what constitutes the natural order of any structured society.

For the sake of getting a couple of jr police on leave, this guy created such a drama, forgetting his own constitutional position and challenging Delhi police as an institution. That in itself is dangerous. Tomorrow he will think nothing of putting up dharna in front of Supreme court, calling for removal of a particular judge or something ridiculous. Because this party doesnt believe in due process- they believe in upheaval. They can come up with any bizarre logic like- what is the use of Constitution if it doesnt help aam admi and his needs ?
They dont want to look into the fact the the final delivery of services at the bottom of the societal pyramid is only after a chain of structured processes. Affairs of the state cannot be managed on the streets.
Whats with this stupid act of conducting a cabinet meeting in a car ?? Do they not have any sense of professionalism or decorum ?

That is why this AAP in its present form needs to be stopped asap.

Indians are some of the most xenophobic, insular, racist and color-conscious people on the planet.

You know, because we are like this only.

If this had happened to any Indian in [INSERT name of any country], the Indian press and politicians would be screaming holy murder.
