Anyone aware...why suddenly there are pop up ads on the site which cannot be closed, making reading of posts on the forum tough. _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |

I don't see the pop-up ads - though I now navigate to the site on IE (Where I don't have ad-block installed). Could it be that you don't login? Or could it just be ad-ware on your browser itself? _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.5.6
This is a common message I have been getting intermittently, of late. If it is during a post read, I simply refresh the URL (which is a www.airlinersindia.s4.bizhat.com one, pointing to the current page). (I'm editing this repeatedly, as I see some new behaviour of late. This seems to happen during a login session. At times, the refreshing does not work. It stays at the above message.)If I get it when I am trying to post, I simply go back, else it might try to double-post (I've had this ignomy once). www.airlinersindia.s4.bizhat.com seems to be using nginx intrinsically for login sessions, which seems to be interacting thus with my service provider.
Thanks, Sumantra. |

| I had to switch to IE due to consistently getting this error on Chrome for weeks | Thanks for the heads-up, Nimish. This is getting quite irritating now. I am unable to reply to posts (which in itself, may not be too bad from the forum's un-important traffic-point of view ). I can read the posts otherwise, in case I do not log in. Windows users have IE as the often, last option. I'm trying shifting from Firefox/IceWeasel to google-chrome, or Opera, on Linux (Debian Wheezy). I'm sending this reply from inside google-chrome, by the way.
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Look like some chrome related issue, as same is not present when using IE. _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |
