Nice shots!

What more do you need to know about the two unknowns to you?

One is Aegean, a Greek airline and the other is Transaero from Russia.

Hi

I believe the picture of BA 777 take off is actually 767 taking off.

Nice shots - gives us a good sense of winters at LHR!

Is that an AA 767 or a 777? The reason I ask is the bogies seem to have only 2 sets of wheels instead of the 3 found on a 777.

Thanks for the information. I was aware of their names as I have seen them quite often at LHR, I just wanted to know their country of origin.
Anyways thanks a lot for boosting my morale..

@Nimish
Thanks a lot , Yes it was really bad snow all over but the good thing this time was to see BAA fully prepared to deal with it as I saw lots to snow clearing vehicles all around LHR, unlike last year when a mere 4 hrs of snow fall shuts LHR for good 3-4 days!!, and you are right its 767 instead of 777, my bad!! Confused Confused

@ashwin
You are right its B767, my appologies.. Embarassed Embarassed

Other than the obvious 6 wheel MLG, another quick way to tell the difference between a 777 and 767 (when gear are down) is that the 767 gear will tilt forward and the 777 backwards.

@Sunny: Nice pictures bro! Venturing out for the first time, and in such cold, with snow around, it does take a lot of Determination and Enthusiasm! Kudos!

Thanks for pointing this out, Sameer!

Other major differences:

> The Tail cone (APU Exhaust) on the Trip7 is sharper, resembling the lower portion of the Screw Driver (that drives the screws), while that of the 767 is roundish!
> The L3 / R3 door on the 767 is an Emergency Exit, like we find on the Middle Exits (over wing Emergency Exits) of the A320/319/B737. The Trip7's L3/R3 is a full fledged door.
> The Nose of the Trip7 is a bit broader, and extra roundish.
> The Upper Surface portion of the Trip7 (surface above the Cockpit) climbs gently, against the abrupt climb on the 767's Nose.
> Engines are big too. Much bigger Fan Diameter.
