I have been itching to share this with someone, but couldn't figure out who other than my immediate family.. Finally decided to make this simple post here, I am sure there would be someone out here who might understand my child like happiness for having completed the 500th flight of my life this past month. (In fact I took 5 more flights after that in December, taking the total tally to 505)

The 500th one turned out to be quite special, having got a free upgrade to J on EK on a flight from Paris to Dubai. (I have been an EK Gold for the past two years, now in love with that airline for their constant free upgrades, opulent lounges and a slightly differentiated service onboard for frequent fliers - just finished a holiday to Dubai with family on EK's free tickets. Used to be an ardent 9W fan just a few years back and a Platinum with them before I found EK)

Flying has been my fantasy from childhood, one that continued to live on even after I crossed 40 three years back. But I am unfortunately not one who can write trip reports or post photos - not disciplined yet to contribute to this forum in those ways. This forum is a great stress buster for people like me, with so many active members and useful discussions and occassional rants!

Any achievement that provides the Individual happiness is worth it.
its nice to be passionate about aviation & congrats on your achieving 500+ trips.
