Hey I was just going through Austrian airlines schedules when I noticed that their once a week KTM-VIE makes a stop at DEL.
Interestingly,this flight is not available for booking on the DEL-VIE sector.
The flight operated by a 332 departs from KTM at 00:30 and arrives into DEL at 01:55 and then leaves at 02:55.
Along with this,their normal DEL-VIE flt. OS 34 operates as per schedule and leaves at 02:30.
Any inputs as to why this flight makes such a stop into DEL.

Slightly OT, but is there anyway to find out the scheduled flights from Indian airports from any one site? It doesnt have to be live data but scheduled data. For eg if I wanted to know what flights were landing in or taking off from DEL on Monday, how would I find that out?

Yes,You can try the following link and you will get the scheduled flights with occasionaly updated flight status for all the Indian Airports:-

Do they have the permission to carry passengers on DEL-VIE route? If yes thats the reason.
But i feel no besides DELAPPROACH there is no point in operating a 332 to KTM as load would be horribly low... so a combined route can generate more passengers and revenues of course

This service to KTM is a once a week service and might be profitable.
If they wish to serve KTM then they have to bring down a 332 else they dont have any other machine to serve KTM from VIE.
Moreover,It is not possible to book a flight on OS 32 on the DEL-VIE sector.So,this flight does not operate as a combined route and OS34-the scheduled DEL-VIE flight leaves just 25min. ahead of this flight.
BTW this service terminates in May 2007 as all the 332's leave OS fleet.
