This incident happed a few months ago at GLH, after the aircraft was painted in the new livery and was to be ferried to IAH. While taxing out to the runway, the concrete collapsed under the left main gear, causing it to fold.

Completely Off topic - but here's an advantage of a pure white livery - just cover up the name, and the a/c is anonymous again Smile

The Surface looks hollow & weak for an Airport tarmac.

The best part is that the plane flew out to MCO for repairs... Shocked ..As per the incident report..

Why should it threaten the airline's reputation? It is not united's fault if the airport authorities at Greenville don't maintain their concrete properly.

I can see a big lawsuit and damages claim coming up in this one.

Most Average onlookers don't look at it that way....They look at the situation & which airline is in it Smile
