Great series - and quite a surprise given how MI seemed pretty much unbeatable all through!
IMO the initial phase was far too long (to select the semifinalists). The latter phase was too short - with only 1 match each there was no place for consistency to show up (one mistake meant you were out, which was not the case up front). _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

Too bad....Raina got two chances & that made the difference, apart from MI slow pace & mixed batting lineup.
Best part of the IPL final was that the roads had less traffic on a sunday for other entertainment _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |

What i always feared came true! No matter how good your form is, Experience always matters when it comes to chasing. And all except Sachin showed exactly that. |

Which year the Cochin and Pune teams get to play ?
The day BCCI decided not to play at Hyderabad (for this year's matches), I had decided not to watch or follow this years IPL matches. |

The IPL matches scheduled to be held in Hyderabad this year were all relocated to Nagpur as there was some fear that the Telangana activists would cause problems. Many Telugus/Hyderabadis were quite upset about this. Some like our friend IAH87 decided to boycott the IPL altogether _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).
