Nice TR Justbala! Thanks for posting!
Just after entering T3, if you felt that you'd landed in Changi, then that's a huge compliment for DIAL! You summed it up very correctly that it'll take atleast 2-3 months to gain operational excellence...but even now it looks beautiful! On the other hand, its disappointing to see IT not perform in terms of service as well as loads, that too on a sector like DXB-DEL...
Thanks for posting again, pics look great! _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. The Caveman who heard a rustle in the bushes and checked out to see what it was, lived longer than the guy, who assumed it was just a breeze.

Also DIAL had publicly said the airport hotel won't be ready till December. |

Great report - good to see pictures of DIAL in action. It's unfortunate that DIAL has not got the scenario sorted out after the baggage claim - including the infamous transfers to domestic terminals - which remains as much of a mess as it always was. And the bags taking so long to arrive is quite odd - made worse by the comment on priority tags! _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

Nice TR; thanks for sharing.
Interesting to see photos of people from various states to decorate the loo doors. Was it just the toilets, or were there Indian elements elsewhere as well? _________________ Yeah. |

The J load was 8 or 8% ?
because 8% would roughly be 1.6 , with KFD being a 20/114 config a/c |

Sorry.. the caption of photos make it clear... it was just 1 pax...
and stil they would have 2 FAs .. any idea how this route is doing for them ?
this route has seen frequent a/c changes from mono clas to dual clas every now and then due to their aircraft problems |

As always a nice report JustBala
1) Did you complain to the crew that you did not get the lounge acess based on the scribbled boarding card? As this is unacceptable
2) T3 pictures are nice and when I saw the carpet it reminded me of Changi airport too. But I hope they manintain it well just as they are maintaining the Delhi metro.
3)Like the restroom picture concept very creative
4) Also liked the fact that at immigaration there is a seprate counter for Indian passport holders, it feels good to know that Indian passprt holders get special treatment at home if not anywhere else in the world. |
