Yesterday, at about 5am a 744 British Airways Flight # 119 with Reg G-CIVG scheduled to land at Bangalore landed at Madras.
Also BA was tellin mangalore ctr Dat we wanted an IMMEDIATE diversion to maa
Any idea why

This is quite likely due to fog in BLR (though I've not heard of fog this morning at 5 am, but it was definitely foggy at around 8 am when I looked out).
Immediate normally due to lack of fuel. |

Just in
Well d BA guy was quoting 250 mts visibilit, So in his opinion mebbe vis was nt gonna improve 4 a while.
On being asked if it was the fuel the expert has answered that : Cud be

Fog and Fuel. I dont know exacts or how often but BA do seem to divert more often than any other EU carrier fpr fuel reasons _________________ If it aint Boeing.. I aint going. |

nope.. nobody tracks this... the only way you can get this info is from the station OPS guys because every single flight has a trip report filed _________________ If it aint Boeing.. I aint going. |
