Hey guys/mods:
Can i make a sugestion for deletion of the locked thread in Aviation Photography titled "WHY ARE WE SO SHAMELESS" or something of that sorts.
Its meaningless.
Further, At Sean: Even though your last message was edited, im surprised you havent got a life long ban for you explicit words against Nalini.
Sad you had to stoop so slow man. Anyways i guess that was your best judgement, just wish you had expressed it in another way.
Anyways to hell with this bull...
regards

No man, born out of a woman would use degrogatory words against any other woman, unless he is sad to have done so in the first place. _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

I have observed that many posters, not pointing out anyone specific, are taking the forum for a ride.
The moderating team is not doing enough as I see those members still actively posting, no action taken against them.
Please give two warnings and expel them, no point in banning. |

We're currently (informally) following something similar to this escalation process:
1. Warning PM/ editing text
2. Week's or a month's ban
3. Repeat
4. 2 Month's ban
5. Repeat
6. <yet to get to this level, but won't be too long >
We've just banned 2 members for 2 months, one as a regular escalation, and the other as an exceptional case straight to step 4.
Would members like to see stricter action? One of the main things holding us back is the lack of immediate feedback from members on which users/ posts/ threads are violating forum rules and need to be disciplined. So definitely encourage members to open a thread on site related the moment they see something that needs the mod's attention. |

Seems i missed it too, but from the words of Nitin, i can surely feel the explicit nature of the language that has been used by the member in question.
It is a disgrace that we indians, who so claim to respect our women, leave no stone unturned to tarnish their image ourselves.
I think the concerned member must apologise to the lady in question and refrain from such cheap publicity. _________________ I love the smell of Jet Fuel in the morning. |

On reading the forums, i notice that this is a second incident with the similar member.
IMHO, Gandhiji said, if someone slaps u, show the other cheek. But Gandhijee never said that if someone slaps u twice, what to do So i guess, Gandhijee too would have opined in my verdict. _________________ I love the smell of Jet Fuel in the morning. |
