PIA gets Boeing 777
KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Friday took delivery of its first of three Boeing 777-300ERs on order. A statement here Friday said that the newest member of PIA’s long haul, wide body fleet departed Paine Field Friday morning en route to its new home base at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. It said that PIA is one of the first airlines to have ordered and taken delivery of three variants of Boeing’s successful 777 family and the airline was the launch customer for the 777-200LR (Long Range).

Their paint scheme on the 773ER is rather weird...
Its that special livery desert something... looks horrible on the 777

Their new livery looks horrible on any aircraft, imo, can't make its mind up if it should be green or brown. Very much prefer the old livery of PIA.
However, I like their tail designs, but feel they would look better witha different fuselage colour.

LOL can see the anti paki wave in the air among our members. Honestly speaking the new livery looks cute to me though agreed its plain jane but then the designer tails do add to the beauty and nt to mention PK airhostesses

PIA has modifed that new look. Earlier it was a very sad looking Pakistani flag.
Looks a bit British Airways now, the world tails scheme. --- before BA got the Union Jack back!
PIA's ATRs have a scheme like in the pic. But its tribal designs. |
