GoAir will be adding a couple soon to stay within the Scheduled operators block is what I've heard.
Practically there are only one B737 bay & one at terminal 1A for larger Aircraft available at night for transitting Aircraft.
A few ATR/CRJ bays are vacant too.

Will Go Air be flying?
Half their cabin crew are planing to defect to IA. IA is planning massive cabin crew recruitment and the advt has been worded to fit the qualifications of cabin crew in the pvt. airlines. |

89 more to come will further add to parking woes But Rahul Bhatia sure would have thought of something.
The are the one with deeper pockets than Go. IMHO i think, Go will go to Indigo _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |

Apart from the parking woes,Rahul Batia will also have to work on how is going to get that many pilots. Its a tall order.
Maybe its time for all the private carriers to meet Arjun Singh (HRD minister) and ask him to start IIPT(Indian Institute of Pilot Training) in all the metros. _________________ www.flickr.com/G-BYGB photos |

Getting slightly off topic, I've found that Indigo has the best rates for a BOM-BLR round trip. On previous occasions, I used Air Deccan & Spice Jet for this route; but it seems that Indigo now has unbeatable rates for this sector. Am I correct in this? I am planning another BOM-BLR round trip in Aug - any suggestions ?? |

I booked BLR-BOM by Indigo and BOM-BLR by IC for August beginning.
I got the Indigo at around the same, but for a mid-week night flight.
I got a better deal in IC, 1775 for the Sunday late evening flight (booked a week back).
All the others were in the range of 3000 - 4000 for the same flights. A _________________ My Flickr photos
