With new fleet, PAL readies nonstop flights to New York, India

PAL's expansion in 2018 also includes the following new routes:

Manila to New Delhi and Mumbai (Bombay) in India, nonstop flights by last quarter of 2018

Does the Phillipines still offer visa on arrival to Indian nationals? I remember they used to do it sometime back.

Or have the 'one-way pigeons' made the Filipinos change their minds?

My friend travelled last year with his family. He had the visa issued by the embassy in Delhi.

If you have an Indian passport with a US/UK/Schengen/Aussie/Japanese/Singaporean visa, then you get a visa on arrival.

Something tells me these flights are more about onward to YVR, LAX, SFO, LAS then O&D. But hey could be wrong...

Probably timed to connect to their new JFK nonstops.

In any case, more choice for the Indian consumer. Beats being sent back to Delhi by racist Russian airport goons, I suppose.

Sanjay,

They certainly seem to be improving their 333s are back to a standard 8 abreast config

and this nice news about their 359s having 33 inch pitch in Y

I guess they will use them for the US non stops and lets hope we see those 321 neos which seem perfect the way they are configured for BOM and DEL
