Whoa...fascinating!
I have never travelled on an ULCC before, and your vivid descriptions plus photographs made one feel being there with you, while at it!
More so, since I have spotted many Allegiant planes in my travels across the US! Eeks...Jet Airways has missed a handwash soap on some of its flights?
Interesting picture of the flushing on inside the pot!
The plane was clearly old, but well-maintained, and for an LCC (or ULCC here), it looks quite good, indeed.
Ancillary sales: I remember my flights on U2 (EasyJet) in the UK, where I fell for a good deal (Stansted Express to London).
Lovely in-flight photos, and those at LAX. In addition to the Allegiant types, you have also spotted a Janet B737.
Nice pics around Las Vegas: I have only seen the city in The Wife's pictures of a hurried trip through the same, with her part of the family.
What lovely pictures of the Grand Canyon you have taken!

Its all about managing expectations on flights, more so on the ULCC airlines. And that's how one enjoys the experience... I quite liked allegiant!
