There was an interesting blog post by DN's Capt. Gopi today - basically roasting Pappu for disappearing at all the crucial junctures.
Seriously though - he should really just resign and relax somewhere - why deal with the crowds and the expectations? Perhaps he's good at cooking or painting - let him pursue his hobbies/ passions, as clearly politics is not his forte. _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

He is supposedly a good pilot, just like his dad was. Holds a current CPL too.
I am sure EK, QR or EY will be happy to take him on, get him an endorsement on one of their big jets and let him stay. It will be a small return favour considering how much the former government, of which Rahul was a key part, did for them. He will probably even enjoy it more than playing politics. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

I would not trust my life with him at the "wheel" - considering his IQ/ logical thinking/ focus on "women empowerment" and so on. I do hope he does not end up as a pilot - even a politician is a better option IMO! _________________ We miss you Nalini! |

They are not the same thing, are they? Take Rajiv Gandhi. His political, administrative acumen and his IQ left a lot to be desired, but he was an excellent pilot. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

Wait a minute. RG was a good pilot FIRST, then became a politician. God knows what would have happened in the reverse case.
I hope RG Jr doesnt become a commercial pilot. I cant imagine him thinking about empowering the FBW to take decisions at crucial junctures . |
