So after a delayed landing from dxb, even after rushing towards check in counter for my blr flight it was of no use. I was then put on the very next flight to blr. I had almost 2 hours to kill and dint know what to do.
Took the escalaltor to the food court. Only a few were open. I realy wanted to eat a typical southie dosa and coffee but the counter was yet to open. So went to kfc for a breakfast of popcorn n zinger. Washed all down with a vanilla blue. I know its very crazy but i still dont know what i was thinking.
At about 8.30 i was near gate 31A.
So the new revised itenary was as follows.

10 June 2014 DEL-BLR
Air India AI506 Airbus 320
Seat: 7A

Boarding commenced right on time that is 8.50 (something new i saw in my entire trip). We were airborne within 9.15. The load was full. As soon as we were on crusing level i fell asleep.

Woke up just on time for snack service only after being yelled at by the FA(yea she yelled veg o non veg). I was still in a sleepy mood so forgot to click pics.
The tray consisted of a coleslaw sandwich with generous amount of filling. The main box had a veg puff pastry along with 3 juicy succulent pieces of chicken tikka marinated in green coriander mint and chilly masala. Desert was a sinful choclate brownie with lots of almonds and cashews sprinkled all over. Then the usual rounds of tea/coffee.
With a totally full and happy tummy i was into sleep for a good hour o so. Woke up right in time for landing. Baggage took a bit of time to arrive. Other than the yelling of the FA it was a pleasent flight.

So this brings an end to my BLR-DXB-DEL-BLR. Sorry for very few pics. Thank you.
Il be back soon with my next report IXE-BLR on 9W.

I'm loving it, Sir! Great food descriptions, flights on board an airline I usually patronise much more than others on the forum, and of course, descriptions and pictures at my `home' airport. Great job, please keep it up: the food part has got something stirring deep inside me, and I need to eat something, quickly, so vivid have been your descriptions!
Cheers, Sumantra.

Thank you once again sir. Actually to be frank from a very young age i always patronized Air India.
The only horrible experience i had with them was of the delay.
No matter what it will always be the 'National Airline'.
And to describe about the food i have learnt from the best. (U Smile ).

Eeks...and just `Sumantra'. I know the conspiracy of a certain Mr. Ameya Joshi behind this!
Cheers, Sumantra.

My experience has been that its only McD and Idli outlet which is open in wee hours, looks like they changed the timings.

Great end to the journey - the only suggestion would be to directly embed the pictures in the report, so we can see the pictures along with reading the text.
