Thanks for sharing this with us, I surely was anticipating this for a long long time now!
Many interesting factors in this TR..
Only 2 check in lines, no banners or indication for the airline at the boarding gates, unbranded sickness bag and of course, jeans for the FA's during the weekends..
While the last seems cool, I hope the ones before do improve as and when I5 grows. Things are certainly starting to look very very interesting in the Indian skies today!
Great pictures too, I look forward to more from you!
Regards

I read this a while ago but never replied (getting to be a bad habit)
Great TR, was waiting to see the I5 aircraft from the inside.
Cheapos save on everything huh they even swiped the airsickness bags from Malaysia
That being said I was surprised they use a standard Air Asia magazine across their subsidiaries- weird to launch in India and not have any mention of it in their own magazine.
The food looked good.
Thanks for the TR. _________________ eP007 |

Great report and thanks for posting.
Seems like Air Asia is doing all the right thing for the India market now.

Balagopal, thank you for sharing these memories with us, with the first I5 TR on the forum! Thank you for a very well-written TR: the bit of history, and important links set the tone for a great reading experience. Both the pictures from the MAA tarmac, and the interior looked wonderful. The AAI magazine is to be read in the terminal area, I am surprised someone carried it right up the the aircraft, where it remained. The food looks really nice: I hope they can keep the standards up. I liked the selfie as well
Cheers, Sumantra. |
