Double Bombay and Daily Dilly?
Either they're doing well, or they're rather optimistic. That is some serious capacity and relatively quick growth.
But 737s on a 6,000 km flight? Wow. I hope Jet aren't paying too close attention, else we'll see the 737s on Brussels and Paris and Hong Kong soon. _________________ four years free of jetya punti! |

NBO-BOM is only about 4500 Kms, a piece of cake for a 738.
NBO-DEL is 5400 kms, a bit of a stretch but do-able on a 738.
HKG is most definitely Do-able. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

If the 737s had the legs, we'd probably see them in London and Paris too.
Looking at the timings again, here's an airline from deep, dark, dirty Africa that also manages to schedule flights at civilised hours. Colour me jealous (not). _________________ four years free of jetya punti! |

would love it, if you could elaborate. _________________ Causal Determinism : We are hardwired to need answers. The Caveman who heard a rustle in the bushes and checked out to see what it was, lived longer than the guy, who assumed it was just a breeze.

and that second daily on BOM NBO should have been on AI or 9W. Both equally guilty. |

I'm not sure if that's a serious question, but I'll answer it seriously.
Look at their flight timings:
- dep NBO @ 1300, 1700, 2200
- arr NBO @ 0500, 0700, 1200
And that pattern follows across their network - London, Amsterdam, Paris, Bangkok, Dubai, Jeddah, Lagos, Bamako, Lilongwe, Seychelles or Entebbe.
Just like it does with most other airlines that have a home market to speak of. _________________ four years free of jetya punti! |

Why can't AI restart this route - if not from BOM, then from their hub in DEL? Or a flight going via BOM, at least 4 or 5 times daily? _________________ Yeah. |

Someone at a.net had stated confidently that NBO and three other routes would be launched next, thanks to entry in Star Alliance. |
