Great continuation.
Nice to know that AI and T3 are a good match! _________________ |

Great parts 1/2/3
Given the options I would have picked the DEL+AI787 as well (just once), hope you get the SQ380 on your June trip.
Sad about not getting your pre-booked seat. If things change the airline should be honest about it at the very least.
Strange for the route map to show weird timings and only coke/soda ... no sprite/7up hahahahhaa.
Looking forward to your simulator review. _________________ eP007 |

Brillant 3 parts, sir!
And 4th, including the simulator experience - we all know which one of the experiences you liked the most, no matter how much you praise the other
Anyways, coming to the B787, interesting you've found it a bit more quieter than the A380 - the whole point of the 787 engines were to go one better. I haven't tried the A380 yet, so I wouldn't know.
Furthermore, weird that the windows were set to one setting only - I thought was only for the DXB flights!
Also, I find it disappointing that AI have still not pulled up their socks in maintaining what should be their flagship aircraft.
As for the A321 - I still have to try an IFE equipped AI narrow body! All my AI flights have either been (or will be ) on the old A320s or wide bodies!
I also love how you described the booking and selection processes, something which I emulate from you soon hopefully, but it still won't be as good!
Looking forward to the return and final part!
Regards

True that. I've seen something similar (if not, better) on IT's A319/20/21 (wow, I've actually flown all three types! ), so really, I'll still be hunting for the oldies and wide bodies while I can |

Ameya Sir, thanks for yet another lovely piece from you.
- Yes, DEL's AI hubbing is quite efficient, something I have not experienced, given that DEL is my home airport, but something about which I have heard some nice things.
- Trust you to make a list of aircraft to see based on the timings! Amazing...
I will continue with the simulators here itself, in the next post.
Cheers, Sumantra. |
