Quote: | It's an alleged true-life story that trumps Hollywood's latest castaway tale.
Thirteen months adrift at sea (maybe more). Thousands of miles traveled. Survival with only what nature and the elements provided.
Jose Salvador Alvarenga washed up on a remote coral atoll in the Marshall Islands last week in a heavily damaged boat. He said he had been living off fish and turtles he had caught and relying on rainwater, and sometimes his own urine, to drink.

Isn't it something?
Now that he made it to the shore, let him make some money telling this incredible story _________________ Tally Sheet:

At least Tom Hanks in Cast Away had access to fresh water and coconuts.
This guy was out in the ocean drinking fish blood, rain water and his own urine.
But I wonder how he didn't get noticed for over a year, with the Pacific being one of the busiest shipping lanes in the World?
There was also another young man with him, who apparently died and it is not known what happened to the body.
So it may well be a case similar to R v Dudley and Stephens, or the 1886 Richard Parker incident _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).
