Guess its been quite some time before New Indian Entrants entered the Indian Aviation Scene.
Rumour has it that Quikjet will commence with ATR freighters before upgrading to B752 Freighters with assistance from Fedex.
Paramount may Restart with A320s this year.....
Anyone having any added Info. _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |

After what happened with Deccan360 and AI-GATI, is there any chance of QuiC(?)kjet surviving and sustaining in the longer run?
Also, paramount restarting is good News. But premium demand and routes have to be researched well ! And who is leasing them the A320s? |

Rumoured that Paramount A320s are Ex AI.
On Cargo its Important to have an assured Ground connection network that provides the oads like Bz/Dhl has to survive.
Most Cargo operators in the past have their Airline but the loads are external parties.Unless they ensure continous stream of loads it will be difficult to post profits.
The choice of Aircraft & team of Flt ops/maintenance personnell are equally Important.Get the right people. _________________ Think of the Brighter side !!! |

Its the 1st time I am hearing about this one:
Swajas Air Charters Ltd, promoted by R. Jayakumar & Christopher Ian Wan, is going in for a IPO, which is open from 26-28 Sept. Classified as a "Non-Scheduled Airline Operator", servicing a fleet of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters within and outside India. _________________ The more I fly 9W, the more I prefer AI | FlightDiary: 59 Boeing + 30 Airbus + 9 ATR + 1 Embraer |

They are already into it, via Taj Air. Now, they want to make it BIG in this high growth market. |

I dont think it is good for Paramount to restart. India has 6 domestic carriers who are competing with each other intensely. If Paramount has 5 aircraft, then they can restart, otherwise, no exemptions should be provided to them. |

Why should there be more airlines in a market where existing players are finding the going so difficult? Paramount had a hard time flying a couple of Embraers, and now they want to resurrect themselves with a fleet of A320s? QuikJet had a 733 painted in their livery which sunned on the tarmac in Chennai before flying back to the lessor without hauling one kilo of cargo, and now they're dreaming of a fleet of 757s? Such hubris and stupidity will only lead to disaster. And don't even get me started with the likes of Capt Gopinath and Vijay Mallya!
As if the MoCA isn't doing enough to ensure that Civil Aviation in India remains in the Intensive Care Ward, these jokers want to do their bit as well _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).
