The review/opinions state that Battery life is a big issue.Theoritically its Talktime of 6 hrs.
Also upgradation of Software thru Net connection is slow.
It has a PDF reader which interests me.But working on the Tarmac in rain, I don't think its worth the current price.Hopefully costs drop.

thats what they said about the n80 as well.. and im not facing any major issues with the n80... the problem is the style of use. The americans/europeans and hence the reviewers have a very wide range of connectivity options available to them. Almost every public space has wifi connectivity... and hence its bound to loose charge. The last time i checked the cellphone was not designed to have power capabilities of laptops... and even with laptops its the same thing... they are only as useful as the amount of charge they can go on without access to a power source.

so for you and me Mel.. with our options and use... the battery life is as good as any other phone. My n80 lasts 2 full days comfortably with moderate to heavy use before i charge it.

the only gripe i would say with the n80 is its bulk and weight..it really *feels* heavy/sturdy... but its got great build quality and a solid feel.

thats all... and if really on a long one then just small things here and there with the s60 3rd edition software.. some features of it here and there like the big jumps in music player volume for every one level increase decrease.. but other than small things like this... the phone rocks!

almost everyone who has seen it has asked me about it in detail. Wink

I can only Fix "Planes",Can't afford one Smile

I'm thinking seriously about the E95.But My concern is Rain at work, unlike the N6230i, a waterproof cover cannot be fitted.I work on the line & Bom the monsoon is terrific.

Hey Mellu,
Any chance that water would clog in Mumbai airport this year Wink since we are speaking of rains and mumbai monsoon.....

Also, i feel u should give a dekko to N95. The price here too is scary but then what the heck, if not a plane then the pod Laughing

Apart from the Cloud burst two yrs ago.Mumbai Airport is rarely flooded, unlike Juhu Aerodrome.

But Working Line Mx in the Rains can be real tough,as theres no rainwear that will keep you dry & it gets cold when one has to keep standing in the open for 8+ hrs.If theres a snag toi attend it gets more complicated.

But then I look at it as a challenge & People don't choose their workplace thats going to be all cosy Smile
