It has: Better Short Field performance. Better Climb performance. I have been on them far many times over the A320 to differentiate the added comfort of the latter. My second choice would be ATR 42/ ATR 72, been on a few of them operated by DN (Air Deccan) & 9W. Well the ATR have the same seating config but they are not in the same class and category as the 737 and 320 family or to an extent the E jets. They are very good in their class of turboprops.It seems a bit unfair to put a turboprop in a poll which has the likes of the 737 and 320 in it. But if i had to choose it would definitely be the 737.From what i know of it i think it is more a pilots aeroplane.Can do everything the Airbus family can do(sometimes better).But from a pax point of view the 320 scores a few points more. But surely the A320 cross-section can allow an LD3 containers which the 737 cannot ? Actually even the Fokker 70 and 100 are terrific airplanes. They have probably got the most powerful takeoffs among the regional jets, and have remarkably low noise levels. It just looked every bit the sexy, racy jet with the T-tail..and those take-offs were absolutely rocket like.
