Jet has announced that it is getting ready to introduce its second international flight from Kolkata. This time it will be to Dhaka. It will be a daily flight on the Kolkata-Dhaka-Delhi-Kolkata sector.
The airline is also thinking of introducing its third foreign flight from the metropolis either to Hong Kong or on the Kolkata-Bangkok-Hong Kong sector.
Jet also plans to increase its domestic operations from Kolkata by planning flts to Vizag, Bhubaneshwar and Ranchi.
The airline says that it will use Kolkata to set up its enginneering base for East India and that the number of aircraft stationed at Kolkata will be six, up from four. |

Good this will give a much needed boost in competition to the measly services of BG on the route and the irregular AI 777 services.
Also i dont think a BKK-HKG extention is feasible from CCU they should go for it non-stop but then again i am just an arm chair ceo.
