Whenevr there is a new topic the topic icon is in yellow. But if by chance my net connection terminates for a second or so and again gains connection then when i refresh, the page opens but now all the topics have been marked as read...so i have to manually hunt each topic to see whether there is a new post or not.
This problem was not there in the previous board. There eventhough the connection might have been terminated for a few moments, the topics still remained as unread.
Any help into this? _________________ http://www.myspace.com/avsatsworld

I would presume it has something to do with Cookies on your computer. Maybe they get erased if the connection is lost. But, then I am not technically trained on this matter.
Anybody having better answer?

This happened to me a few times when we migrated to this new site. I, however, later realized that whenever I get back online after reconnecting (and see that all posts are now read) I am not logged in. Log-in again and the posts are unread again.
See if its the same with ya..

That happens with me too. It could be because info in Cookie takes into affect only once you login. If that's that case, then what's the problem. |

That depends what kind of info the site places in the Cookie file. Then again this is my educated guess, somebody more technical will have to explain further.
