Excellent Report and pictures. Surprised to know that even in off peak season like July SQ has a good load factor.
Wish you guys had told me earlier that you would be in SIN we could have met up as I am based here.

We hardly had time for ourselves, of the 4 days 2 days in traveling and the remaining hours shopping. Just one day we relaxed around Clarke Quay. I did not even inform my cousin that I was visiting SIN. |

Hey Ojas,
Nice report. About the Y class, it is the same product they have on their 380s. Also seems the SQ menu has undergone a change, since they did not offer beef when i flew SQ from BOM in march.

First of all, hello to everyone!
I flew this same route last month and it was probably the most comfortable flight I have ever flown in economy class. SQ have really risen the standard with its 77Ws (and, I assume, also on the A380s) for all classes, but for those of us who usually get stuck in economy, the upgrade is especially appreciated!
After SQ's "new economy class" on the 77W, it was a bit of a let down to board a regular ol' 777-200 for my connecting flight (SQ18 SIN-ICN-YVR). Compared to the 77W from Mumbai, the 777-200 was nowhere near as comfortable. I guess it takes an even better SQ flight to make a "regular" SQ flight disappointing!
Anyway, those are my two cents. I'll be back to contribute where and when I can.
Cheers. |
