Hi there, I received a mail from aseemsjohri@yahoo.com saying this...

Hello HamiltonAir,

You have received a new private message to your account on "Airliners-India.net" and you have requested that you be notified on this event. You can view your new message by clicking on the following link:

http://airlinersindia.s4.bizhat.com/privmsg.php?folder=inbox

But when I login, my inbox is empty, can the mods help me out?

Thanx n regards,

Is it possible that the sender of the PM deleted it? I've sent you another test PM today, you should see that in your inbox.

Aseem you got it wrong,
Whenever a member recieves a PM from ANY member and if he has set the notification settings that inform me each time i recieve a new message, then a mail in your name is sent saying that you recieved. now i can remember sending a PM to HamiltonAir but im surprised how it got deleted.
Anyways i have sent it again.

Yeah irrespective of who sends the PM and to whom, there is a mail sent to the recepient from your email address. I think its an automatic setting and nothing to do with viruses.

Cheers

Even if you have subscribed to any thread for notification, the email is sent out with your email address.
