Singapore to shut Australian call centres
SYDNEY - Singapore Airlines is to relocate its call centres to India in a move that will see the closure of reservation offices in Perth and Sydney.
However, there will be a creation of a new South West Pacific Service Centre, to be based in Sydney.
The new structure will be completed by mid July.
A statement from the carrier claimed the move is consistent with being “more cost-effective in the provision of services to customers”.

They are being given to Wipro. Even SQ's New Zealand call center will be moved to India.

| If this post was on Airliners.net, all the usual racists would be out in full force prattling on about cheap labour and how Indian call centers botched up their last 1-900 call. |
