Fellow AI.netters,

We have about 24 hours left, and 2 nominations received so far (thanks in advance to both applicants).

I'd like to encourage each one of you to examine whether you have the time and the inclination to moderate the forums, and if you do, please send in your self-nomination to airlinersindia@yahoo.com!

We will select one of the nominations based on parameters like:

* Their participation on the forums (we do actually check on the quality and quantity of past posts)
* Their ability to follow rules
* Their consistency on the forum

This is just a representative list of criteria applied, and should give you a sense of how seriously we take the selection process.

Is MEL stepping down? That will be sad!!! Although not based in BOM, it has always been great interacting with the Anet India BOM crowd and making it to one of those BOM meets all the way from HYD was a real highlight for me.

Glad to see MAA also very active. When I was there there was only Anet (and no Anet India) and I had mate quote a few pilgrimages aline to the hillock near St Thomas Mount church.

The competition, if that is what you want to call it, is not transparent and fair.

I see a systematic attempt to prevent me, a political and social outsider with differing views a seat at the table.

This disenfrancisement is all the more unfair when it is I, TexDravid that makes the Non-Av board run with my commentary and new articles. Any thread that I am involved in gets hundreds of hits.

By the way, this is not satire nor is it some cynical ploy.

Aseem puts out some mod election, and then doesn't get back to anybody in a month, and then out of the blue selects some guy named Sreenath Y.

Pardon me, but that is bulls...

With the next mod election, I humbly demand a spot at the A.net India table. I will not sit for anything else.
