I hope this concentrates on the "airport" and not its suroundings.

There is more to Mumbai airport in terms of history than most "shiny" new world airports.

As it is the West is thirsting for voyeuristic glimpses of urban poverty, depravation and desperation- they even call it a new term "slum tourism"..

It's been a while now to do a recap and the DVD is buried in some box in storage now. Just imagine all the pics from the photographers here except in motion. Smile

Will do but it will be a few months before construction on my new house is done and I unpack everything.

I do remember that it begins in the cockpit of a 737 (Spicejet I believe*) and they do some taxiing before getting to the familiar spot. They film day and night too.

*Maybe this was done at the same time as the Spicejet DVD? I have that too but haven't gotten around to watching it.

Spicejet DVD was much earlier.

Mumbai Airport DVD was more reticent. Members Vishal Jolapara and Vivek Manvi assisted Joe Peres (hope i got the name right) of Just Planes to help shoot from various locations and spots.

More insight can be given by them.

@ Birendra : I hope you meant 'recent' and not 'reticent' .. Laughing
Also, it's 'Pries' not 'Peres'. We did bump into Members Vivek Manvi and Karan Bindra while they were with Joe Pries, didn't we ? Earlier, I remember spotting Member Vishal Jolapara shooting with Joe too. It would be gr8 if they could shed more light on the contents of that DVD. Smile
