I have seen in Hyderabad and Bangalore, but i dint like the schools there. Pls help me with this(asap), i want a good flying school with good campus, hostel and facilities. I will be going to Mumbai to find out the schools over there. Haree, mate thats slightly rude for a person who's making just his first post, dont u think ? About posting of topics, djin please post relevant topics in a relevant forum. About your quest for a Flying School you could've posted this in Aviation Hobby or Non Aviation section. But thats ok, you will learn as you get used to the website. About flying schools in India, i did my ground training from Academy of Carver Aviation, Pawan Hans - Ville Parle, Mumbai. Their airfield is located in Baramati, Maharashtra (Sharad Pawar's hometown) http://www.carveraviation.com/ I didnt fly at Carver, as the situation at Baramati (the Flying bit) is kinda in turmoil & a lotta different factors which wont be appropriate to be mentioned here. Another Option is Yash Air http://www.yashair.com run by the now famous Capt. Yashraj Tongia (due to his views & opinions being posted in articles about Indian Aviation in Times of India posted to him by reporter Manju V) Anyways, i am an aspiring pilot myself and am on the hunt for a good flying school. If you need any assistance you can email me with your querries & so on, just that this Section is purely for matters relating to Civil Aviation. So please post accordingly from now on.
