Here are some more along with size comparisions:
1: Boeing 7E7 with NWA 747 - 400 (Scale 1:500) and same old Parfume bottle.
2: Boeing 7E7 with NWA 747 - 400 (Scale 1:500) and same old Parfume bottle and Fly Boeing 2007 calendar.
3: Boeing 7E7 with AI Boeing 787 (New Design)
All the big models except the challenger are in 1:100 scale
Enjoy

All the Big Models are Pacific Miniatures
All 1:500 models I have are Herpa Wings.
I never had to bare the pain of carrying them as the big models wer given to me by Boeing and Bombardier.
The smaller Herpa ones were a pain as when I went to Berlin for the WC 2006 Final, I bought about 40 - 45 models alone on 1 day from Aviation Center Berlin. The Models took up a small bag completely.

Just to clear somethings up.
My father's friend is consultant for AI and Boeing and many other airlines and other companies in India.
He bring those big models for me once in a while thus I have the right to say Boeing gave me the models.
Any ways they are also available at www.pacmin.com and are custom made for your needs like the Boeing 7E7 I have. Bought this one online
You can buy it if for approx. 200 - 300 dollars |

Hey all:
Minister welcome to the world of collecting models! Its an insane hobby.. and most of the time you have to control yourself from going overboard!
Anyways, i have crossed the 100 model mark finally! All my models are 1:400 scale... barring about 5 models which are 1:500 and one SQ A380 which is 1:72 which i bought from the Asian Aerospace 2006 and is hand made by people employed by SQ for making money for charity.
I prefer the 1:400 licensed models (DW,Herpa,GJ), etc because they are valuable as their value keeps going higher as time passes.
Regards

Nice to see models of aeroplanes in die cast metal.
It is fantastic to see specifics to the core on a miniature model.
I am interested in pursuing this hobby.
I notice that a certain section of members are pioneers in this field.
My tryst did take me to a place called Model Art in Inorbit Mall, Malad website www.modelartindia.com but the prices Rs.1200 upwards scared me and made me just feast my eyes on them and walk away.
Member Minister
What other places in the City Of Mumbai can you purchase, look and ogle at these models |

Actually, yes. There is a plan to build an airport diorama. At first I was going to build it from scratch. That board in the last picture was going to be the base and you can see some GSE at the bottom right. However, Gemini Jets has released an Airport Terminal to go along with their Airport Mat (which I already have) so I am just going to use that instead. It'll be much bigger than the scratch built one I had planned, which I may do anyway for fun.
