Nitin - waiting for an update from you about the the 9W 77W model. Any idea of the scale / co. that makes it?? If it is something that only you & a privileged few have access to, I dare say a few of us would be interested in pre-ordering. |

Hey guys and Karan69:
No its not something i have special priveleges to , its going to be made by Dragon Wings in 1:400. I found out because a close friend of mine doeals with them in Hongkong. Infact, he has been telling me for the last few weeks about it and how he is himself rather frustrated with the fact that they are developing it so slowly.
Other than that, this friend of mine, Chung Ling, has jsut started his new website where you can order and pre order from him directly.
As for trust, i trust him completely, he is a respected ebay seller and a good friend. I had some trouble selling an AI model to JJ from this forum, that was a nightmare and in the end it just turned up to be a delayed package in the mail, thats all. Lots of unnecessary words were exchanged so i now refrain from gettin involved.
So this guys website is www.toyskingtoys.com, you can contact him and give him my reference if you would like.
If you want a bit more background on the chap, he used to be a shuttle train driver from HKG to the main hongkong city which he gave up to start his online scale model shop on ebay and has now started his site. Also, please send him suggestions on how he can improve his site, that was one of his requests.
Do let me know if you need anymore information.
Regards nitin |

No problem at all, i have bought like 80 models from Chung Ling. Now i am looking for an airport mat, anyone have one? or have any information about one? I would be looking at it for my 1:400 scale planes.

Hey 747, sorry about that, the borwser is adding the "comma" i added after the URL and thats why it isnt opening, try it without the comma, it works.

Ah Dragon, I had a feeling it would be them if this turned out to be 1/400. They do have a nice 77W mold. I'll just get it from my regular retailer (jetwaymodels.com) though when it comes out. There's no danger of it selling out.

Are you looking for the Gemini Airport Mat? I have a couple of them left over from my retailing days. PM me if interested. Also, you've probably heard of the terminal Gemini is making to fit this mat. If you are interested in that you better get it from your retailer soon as it's very popular and selling out fast.

Thanks for the reply Nitin,
One question though if we order do we still get the 10% discount that you were offering in the previous forum or is that no longer the case

Hmmm Karan to be honest, i would recommend you take a shot and ask Wilson (Chung Ling) for it, but honestly i doubt it

Anyone know how much duty we would have to pay for models purchased from HKG or US?
Also PHX released the AI 772LR in the interim scheme
