Nice shots Himmat!
How much is the action at BLR during daytime? Also are there any international arrivals/departures in daylight?
And is it worthwhile to plan a day long spotting trip to BLR?

Thanks Vivek, I still have a lot to learn from you guys.
There are hardly any day time international arrivals or departures at BLR. You may spot a few IAF transport and fighter aircrafts.
If you wish to come down here, do so in the winter months when the rwy 09 is in use. View from the buildings on this end is almost like Jari Mari. _________________ Save Maharashtra! |

The only international arrival during daytime are th EK A330 (around 5 pm), Crystal Cargo A300 (around 2/3 pm) and the UL (around 9 in the morning).
Regarding the departures, I only know of the EY which departs about 90 mins after its arrival. The others I am not very sure of.
Else, it is mainly a situation of "Its a 320, no, its a 737, damn, its an ATR". The only exception to these are the BD 732's which stream in early morning.
So, on the whole not worth it, if you want to spot heavies/international traffic. _________________ My Flickr photos

Thank you for your observations and inspiring words, JJ.
I read in a book and feel some amount of resemblance to it:
For when the great scorer comes, to write against your name.
He writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the game. _________________ Dictum meum pactum, "My word is my bond". |
