Interviews might have been taken. But these interviews may not have been published/broadcast!
Thats where "Media Management" comes in!

Roy.As I can recollect....The VT-JAL [veering off Runway on T/O roll] causing NLG shearing off was NOT a write off.It was attributed to a Surge bleed valve replaced the flight before malfunctioning.This was on line in a few months.
The Mangalore Indident was not AOG for long too.
So this is the 1st Writeoff.But I'll chk with Friends at 9W.
