Interesting! Another new route for DEL. Is this targeting O&D traffic or connections to Europe?

I would assume they are targeting the traditional India- North America traffic with short connections. Warsaw is a small airport and should help with low connection times. Should be interesting to see what destinations they connect into for NA traffic.

LOT serves NY, Chicago, Toronto, LA and Miami

Only twice weekly means that it is the backpacker tourist crowd that they are after.

They may get some VFR Indians travelling to the US, but I doubt WAW is a good place to transit.

It's a 5 weekly service.

Other than a very tight connection to JFK and YYZ (one hour connection time) in Warsaw, this flight doesn't allow for other US connections. I suspect there's some India-Poland O&D traffic that will be buttressed by both India-EU/UK connections, and some traffic to JFK and YYZ.

I've heard good things about Warsaw's airport, and the onboard offering in J on their 787s.
