First it was Qatar complaining about OW and now China Southern wants to leave Skyteam.
Are these just outliers or do they point to an increasing frustration with alliances on the part of airlines? |
It is all about JV's now. Being part of the alliance only gets a few award miles and award travel. Even that on Skyteam with DL it is complicated. Just look at United, which is very uncooperative at its hubs for connecting flights. No wonder that China Southern wants to leave.
However QR may have no choice but to stick with OW for now until the relations of Qatar with UAE and Saudi are sorted. |
