Delightful!
Nainital: I have been there as a kid, and all my other Uttarakhand trips have been to other parts of the state. What delightful photographs!
Wow, you got a Red Panda: this is the original Panda, the Firefox. The `Giant Panda' is a much more recent `discovery', and has caught the imagination of the world much more, and hence, the original Panda was called the `Red Panda'.
And what a catch: a Swagat magazine from 2002! Quiz: can you name an airport which is no longer served by regular commercial flights?
The IAF museum is a gem: I fully agree with you. Lack of funds and space prevents it from being a top-notch museum. The shoddy spray paint jobs do not help. However, the collection is fabulous. The 1982 flypast had a Spitfire almost literally taken out of the museum and flown. Some of these birds are not in too bad a condition.
A little correction: the gentleman whose statue you admired is the one and only PVC Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon. An incredible airman!
You have described the Rajdhani trip beautifully.
I had a delayed trip: on my Duronto debut, which you too have commented on, eons back:

Lovely descriptions Sir, once again!
Cheers, Sumantra.
