Is there a reason why an O&D route such as this on an O&D airline such as this has such a lousy time slot? Is it because domestic operations pack daylight hours and there isn't any wiggle room to schedule an international operation? |

I think KU also has similar timings on one of its KWI-BOM flights. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).

Yes, but those KU flights are designed to connect to its LHR and JFK flights. KU are still the cheapest option on the BOM-NYC route. If you don't care about booze on a long haul (and honestly, I'm getting to that point), they're a comfortable and cheap option in J. |

This is possibly the best timings for the Indian expat visiting home. Maximizes their time home. |

Did you transit Kuwait on your way to India? What was the transit experience like? I looked at some reports on the internet, and all of them unanimously do not recommend it. _________________ I don't know which is the more pampered bunch : AI's widebodies (the aunties) or Jet's widebodies (the planes).
