I just booked a MH flight and mistakenly got my surname-first name interchanged. I called them immediately and the agent told it is fine until I told that I hold an Indian passport. She told me to send an email to the customer services. No reply yet. Any advice?
Thank you |

Thank you | Troublesome, Dr.Piruthivi. I have had this issue domestically, and so have a few family members. A comment can be inserted in a PNR to this effect. It has worked for us thus far, albeit domestically. The last-name-firstname part for me went undetected on an DEL-IXM-DEL leg. It is nice to hear from you after quite a while: I wonder where you are now. I visited your earlier(?) work-place a few times and looked your name up in the directory, but was disappointed!
Cheers, Sumantra. |

Thanks Sumantra Ji. Sorry for long silence. Lots of changes. Left IIT. Moved back to Leeds due to kids’ Health issues. Finding my feet again at job and trying to settle as family is lot harder than as single!
Btw, i paid £100 and changed names- do not want to take risk! |
